Why Ditch Rajesh

rajesh is the person who helped when I was 17, he needed a video editor and I vouched for it, gave him a sample working day and night he loved it and hired me at 12k per month basis remote work and very light work load, everything was going good doing my college and part time in weekend was doing this.

then he increased it to 15k per month then so then worked around 2 years at that cost and it was a weeekend sort of task so jot expected much pay as well, and was going good did some exprimental stuff, like running a whole marketing startegies, and deceloping a startup together being a sole designer and developer with 49% equity, where he would be the product manager and I would be the executer and that time I got really good offer from LnT as a Diploma Engineer Trainee, and some other offers from really big content creators for video editing role for 7LPA with good projects but relocation issue and not so good work culture but a luxury life so to say.

then he inspired me to continue working on startup instead then we continue for aroubd 9 months working for his videos work for his main startup and then working on our startup then because I was not that motivated towards development at that time we decided to outsource the development task in exchange of equity from my shares, still was doing other tasks like data cleaning, interns management and other UI UX stuff.

then I saw we spent around 1 year and we didn't had much progress, so applied for a no code developer role in other company in my network, and got really decent offer considering no degree and not that good at those skills, so taken up the job saying rajesh will rejoin if I not like it after 3 months anyway I have some event so will leave that job, but then after 3 months I saw my growth so inclined to stay at the sompany and still do part time with rajesh, btw rajesh also helped in getting loan for my 1.5lac worth macbook.

And I am psying the emi every momth, while giving the loan he wanted me to stay with him for 2 years at least and work for him I agreed upon this.

But now after around 1 year of loan and after 3 months of new job he asked me to meet him, but couldn't meet because I came to his town but then after the event I left for the new job town quickly because of hectic schedule, then he was angry as hail on me and started giving bad words, etc..

Then I was very uncomfortable at the moment hence message this : "Honestly, I don’t think continuing to work together would be the right decision at this point, given the loss of trust and the relational challenges we’re facing. If I were to continue working with this sense of guilt, I don’t believe I’d be able to give my best effort, even after leaving the current contract. Let’s discontinue our collaboration.

So after that for 3-4 months I was still working on projects as part time becayse the tasks for little dependent on me and continues the same payments.

And then when my contract at current company came to an end, I thought of asking him back if he can give me any better offer compare to my current company, he gave me 20% hike but the work was as a generalist doing major part of UI UX, then video editing, then little bit of contribution towards some experimental projects to use ai and ml, or some other no code devleopments with future transitioning towards product management.

But after this the current company also gave a offer of going full remote and 10% hike, I liked the offer and work was more specific that was about development and product management. Both the scenario lead to product management career but the current company seems more faster because we have much better problems to tackle.

So I asked if he can increase 6lpa offer to 8 lpa, then he got rrallt angry and told me this is not how things work and if I keep this attitude then it will be very tough for you to go ahead in life and angrily cut the call, and said my offer is final for 6lpa, if you want take it or leave it.

Because I saw the relation got bit spoiled I thought lets not go ahead, and I keep the macbook emi for that month and stopped talking, I always thought to give response but straight away no was very rude so I just wanted to stay silent and thought would communicate in a better writing.

But after that I didn't got gutts to write back to him, because I was actually not even enjoying much the current company job, I felt like I was on bench for 1 month. And literally wasted whole month, mindlessly doing nothing and invreasing more bad habits. And Recently I got a interesting project to add real value to the company by working on whatsapp automation for leads to filter out not comnecting customers.

Problem statement is interesting and will be able to work on multiple stuff AI and Product and also having a ownership on a whole project. So help me in writing a whatsapp message to rajesh. Adressing this.

And I don't want to keep any bad feelings between us as you have been mentor for me for really long time. But now I just feel to leave my comfort zone a bit. And I am really thankful of what rajesh did.
