Guilt for Beggar

2025-05-13

#health#people#finance

Today while travelling to delhi for our picnic sponsored by the company I am working for in loval train a beggar came mother and daughter asked for money I denied then asked for water I tried acting as I am not listening then they forced me too much, I saw them and I denied sorry.

The immediate thoughts in my mind were dude if I give my water bottle that will be potentially infected, then also it's not right to deny giving water to somebody because it's a fundamental need of humans, alao I was thi king should I say it's boiled water and I am travelling long I need it for my health but not wanted to lie for such small thing.

Then you felt it's more important to lokk for your need first before helping another person because you can't help everyone in the world who is need, so it's not a big issue if I don't give the water at that point of time, because I needed that for long run and they can easily drink on next station.

People might be judging me if I am an asshole and empathy less person but I did the best came my brain naturally at that situation maybe if you would be some peers of mine I would have definitely guven the whole bottle to avoid judgement by close people. So cool.
